The Blackwood Brothers are celebrating 80 years! The Blackwood Brothers Quartet, first formed in 1934, has become the best-known quartet in the history of gospel music. In 2002, James Blackwood went to be with the Lord, but his son, Jimmy brought the name out of retirement. Now James’ youngest son, Billy continues the 80-year tradition. The group today consists of Billy Blackwood, Wayne Little, Butch Owens, and Mike Helwig.
