Revelation 19
“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!” (1). John saw “a great multitude” in heaven worshiping the Lord, rejoicing that the “marriage supper of the Lamb” had arrived (6-9) and the enemies of God had been vanquished (19). The sacrificial Lamb who gave His life for us is called Faithful and True and the Word of God (11-13), and He both “judges and makes war” against evil (v11). He is worthy of worship.
John’s visions do not give us concrete dates or puzzles to figure out. Instead, we receive certain hope that Christ is alive and His kingdom will prevail, because “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (v10).
