II Timothy 4
/“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (7). Nearing the end (6), Paul explained that the evaluation of humans did not matter; each person would face Jesus Himself (1). Rather than be swept away by temptations or troubles, he urged believers to “keep your head in all situations”, remaining steady (5). Sadly, some like Demas had fallen away (10), and Alexander was opposed to the gospel (14), but others like Luke, Priscilla and Aquila, Erastus and Claudia were still serving Jesus.
“But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength...” (17). When we lean on Him, God gives us everything we need to remain faithful to the end.
