Acts 16
/“And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household" (v31). Paul and Silas and others took this Message from city to city. Sometimes they acted on direct guidance from the Spirit, like the vision of the man that moved them to travel to Macedonia. At other times, circumstances brought them somewhere – like the jail, after a beating – and they continued preaching the good news.
“And they spoke the word of the Lord to him …” (v32). For Paul, “how” and “where” were flexible when it came to spreading the gospel. But in a synagogue, jail, or public arena, the Message was the same: believe in Jesus.
