Psalm 145

“They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds” (v11-12).  Across generations and across cultures, God has used ordinary people to spread the knowledge of Himself.  When God’s people talk about Him, we help others know what He is really like: God raises up those who are bowed down, He is “kind in all His works” (v17), and He is near to all who call on Him (v18). We also encourage and build up one another (v4).

We are called to “pour forth the fame of God’s abundant goodness” (v7), declaring His kindness to each other and to those who have never heard.
