II Corinthians 2:12-17
/“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere” (v14). Paul had learned that he was not always in control of the circumstances of his life. However, he explained that in every situation, when our lives are dedicated to God, we are the “aroma of Christ” to those around us (v15). We are not perfect – we are not “sufficient for these things” – yet God makes salvation known through us (v16).
As we know Christ more, the presence of Jesus is “a fragrance of life” to those around us (v16).
