Psalm 125
/“Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever” (v1). This remarkable promise says that when we place our faith and trust in the Lord, we “cannot be moved” from His ultimate good purposes for us. God promises to “surround” us with His presence and His love, so that we are not helpless under the “scepter of wickedness,” the broken and destructive systems of this world (v2-3).
“Do good, to those who are good” (v4). Scripture says none of us are good on our own, but when we trust in God’s goodness, He includes us in His family and we “abide forever” with Him.
