Deuteronomy 34

“Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eye was undimmed, and his vigor unabated” (v7).  Moses, Israel’s greatest leader, died when God said it was time (32:50).  His leadership took Israel out of Egypt and to the brink of the Promised Land, yet Joshua was the called to bring the people into their inheritance.  Moses wasn’t perfect, but he was known for the quality of his interaction with God: he knew God “face to face” (v10).

“I have let you see it with your eyes …” (v3).  Our call is to be faithful with the resources, years, and opportunities God gives us, like Moses did, trusting that our efforts will bear fruit in His eternal kingdom.
