Psalm 7

“O LORD my God, in you do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me!” (v1).  When the psalmist David brought his troubles to the Lord, he acknowledged that he was praying to the all-seeing God, “You who test the minds and hearts!” (v9).  Therefore, he confessed his own sins and opened his heart, being transparent and humble while making his request for help (v3-5).  “The LORD judges the peoples; judge me, O LORD …” (v8).

“My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart” (v10).  God saves us from ourselves as well as from the outside forces that seek to harm us.  #NCManna
