Daniel 10-12

“He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action” (11:32). Daniel’s apocalyptic, complicated visions described earth’s rulers competing against each other and threatening those who know God, while these believers “stand firm and take action.” God’s people could take courage, because according to the angel Michael, Daniel’s prayers for help had been heard in heaven (10:12).

God promises that a good future awaits those who follow Him even through times of testing and confusion. The “wise” (faithful to God) “shall shine like the brightness of the sky above, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever” (12:3).
