Isaiah 27
/“In days to come … Israel shall blossom and put forth shoots and fill the whole world with fruit” (v6). Isaiah prophesied about the day of salvation (the fruit of Israel through the Messiah) and of judgment, when God would slay “the twisting serpent” of evil (v1). God desires our salvation (not our destruction), He calls to all who are willing, “Let them make peace with me” (v5). In that day, says Isaiah, those who belong to Him in all lands will be gathered home (v13).
The “full fruit” of peace with God through Jesus is revealed in our transformed lives. God calls us to give up our idols and to love and serve Him with our whole hearts (v9).
