Psalm 90
/“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God” (v2). Knowing the eternal God is our dwelling place (v1) helps us find security when our lives seem constantly buffeted by “toil and trouble” (v10). The burdens of the moment overwhelm us, but for God, even a thousand years is nothing (v4). Leaning on Him, we ask for humility: “Teach us to number our days, so that we may get a heart of wisdom” (v12).
“Satisfy us in the morning with Your steadfast love” (v14). Because God holds past, present, and future in His hands, we can trust Him to take care of our needs today.
