Revelation 20-22

“Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them” (21:3). Believers enduring great suffering in John’s time were comforted by the fact that their destiny was completely secure. Their names were written in the Lamb’s book of life, and the tears and pain of the present (21:4) were not the end of their story. One day, just as we personally have been redeemed and reborn in Christ, the whole earth will be made clean and new, filled with God’s presence (5).

“To the thirsty I will give water without cost” (21:6). The water of life we get a taste of now is just the beginning. Jesus promises that all our thirst will be satisfied.
