Revelation 21-22

“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man” (21:3).  One of the greatest mysteries of the universe is that God wants to be with us, despite our sins.  Genesis describes how we separated ourselves from fellowship with God, yet He kept pursuing us; in Jesus, He went so far as to become human.  John’s visons show the end: God will live among His forgiven, redeemed people on the renewed earth; He will be our healing water and our light (Rev 22).

“Let the one who desires take the water of life without price”. Reconciliation with God, life in the new Jerusalem, is possible because Jesus paid the price.  “Let the one who is thirsty come” (22:17).
