Mark 15:1-32

“…the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole Council. And they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate” (v1).  The Jews were spiritually led by the priests, the elders, the scribes, and the whole religious leadership Council.  These men knew God’s Word and spent time sacrificing in the Temple and teaching others.  But when Jesus, God’s Son, stood before him, they rejected him.  Seeing him on the cross, “the chief priests with the scribes mocked him to one another” (v31).
“And the chief priests accused him of many things” (v3).  Knowing God’s Word isn’t enough; we must give up our pride to see Jesus for who he is.  #NCManna
