Genesis 45

“And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life” (v5).  After testing his brothers’ integrity and their concern for Benjamin, Joseph was convinced that they had changed, and he revealed himself to them.  Rather than using his power to take revenge on them, Joseph explained that God had a bigger plan to save them all.  “For it was not you who sent me here, but God” (v8). 
Joseph chose to focus on God’s great plan of salvation for his family, rather than hang on to the ugly past.  He “kissed all his brothers and wept upon them” (v15). #NCManna
