Exodus 3
/“I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them … to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey” (v8-9). God’s promise to Moses was that He would rescue the Israelites out of Egypt and take them to a “a good and broad land.” Being saved out of slavery was the first step toward the goal: serving God in “a land flowing with milk and honey” (v17).
“But I will be with you” (v12). God saves us from our sins for a purpose: to bring us into the good life of fellowship with Him, in His kingdom.
