Exodus 35

“All the men and women, the people of Israel, whose heart moved them to bring anything for the work … brought it as a freewill offering to the LORD” (v29).  The building of the mobile worship center, the tabernacle, was an opportunity for men and women to give their very best to the Lord.  They brought whatever they had: gold and silver, scarlet and purple yarn, linen, acacia wood, oil, etc (v22-24), and those “whose hearts stirred them to use their skill” created beautiful things (v26).
God calls each of us and empowers us – “with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship” (v31) – with everything necessary to fulfill His good purposes.
