Exodus 38

“He made the basin of bronze and its stand of bronze, from the mirrors of the ministering women who ministered in the entrance of the tent of meeting” (v8).  The names of the “ministering women” are not recorded, yet they were important both in welcoming people (at the entrance to the tabernacle) and in what they gave: bronze mirrors that were transformed into part of the altar.  Others, like Ithamar the record-keeper (v21), provided essential, practical skills.

“Bezalel … made all that the Lord commanded Moses” (v22).  Bezalel’s work was possible because thousands of others were doing their own tasks, contributing in their way, coming together to glorify God.
