Ezekiel 39-43

“Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God” (39:28-29). Israel faced judgment because they broke God’s covenant, yet God promised to redeem them and, through the Messiah, fill them with His own Spirit. “I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel" (39:29). In a vision, Ezekiel saw God’s Spirit filling a new Temple, showing that beyond the painful destruction and defeats, God still had a glorious future for them (43:2).

“The glory of the Lord filled the Temple” (43:5). No matter the past, we become God’s restored Temple through Christ, full of His Spirit (Eph 2). His wants to live in us and among us.
