Romans 8:18-39

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words” (v26). The extraordinary gift of the Spirit extends all the way to helping us pray.  We are adopted sons and daughters of God, but we still live in a dark and confusing world.  In addition to prayer, we can trust that God has provided everything we need, and nothing can separate us from His love (v39).

“He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all ….” is the same One who gives us “all things” necessary to live for Him (v32).
