Matthew 28
/“Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted” (v16-17). The disciples were amazed by the resurrected Jesus, and they probably would have preferred he stay for years longer, teaching and comforting them. But instead, he gave them a command: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations …” (v19). It was as they obeyed, becoming His witnesses, that His Spirit continued to guide and teach them.
“And behold I am with you always …” (v20). The love of Jesus and the comfort of His Spirit flow through us as we speak and live in ways that reflect our Savior.
