Romans 16
/“Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus …” (v3-5). Paul concludes his letter by greeting a diverse group of beloved co-workers in Rome, both Jewish and Gentile believers and men and women. Appealing to their unity in Christ, Paul warned these leaders “to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles … For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve” (v16-18).
“I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil” (v19). Our spiritual enemy seeks to inflame hatred and division, but we serve the God of peace (v20).
