Revelation 14

“Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people” (14:6). John’s vision shows God’s constant desire to offer the “eternal gospel” to every nation and tribe on earth, generation after generation. “Fear God and give Him glory” (v7), the angel shouts, because judgment is coming. Today, Jesus calls men and women to turn from their sins and receive this “eternal gospel.”

“Here is a call for the endurance of the saints ...” (14:12). God’s victory and the end to all our battles is good news, both for the persecuted in John’s time and those weary and discouraged today.
