II Corinthians 9

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work” (v8).  Continuing his discussion about financial giving, Paul explained that the “economy” of the kingdom runs on faith in God’s abundant generosity.  As we receive from God everything we need, our hearts are open and compassionate toward others, so that we “abound in every good work” – not only financial giving, but also giving of our time and attention.

“You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way …” (v11). God “enriches” us by pouring out spiritual and practical gifts, so that we lack nothing.
