Isaiah 41-45

“Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth — everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory” (43:6-7). Isaiah’s prophecies revealed the amazing truth that Israel’s Promised One would also be the Redeemer of the nations. In him, “the islands will put their hope” (42:1-4). The same God who called Israel out from idolatry (44:20) desired to redeem all people from spiritual slavery. “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you ... you are mine” (43:2).

By faith in the Messiah, we inherit all God’s promises. “When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned” (43:2).
