Psalms 91

Psalm 91, which some think was written by Moses, ranks very close to the inimitable Psalm 23 both in its popularity and its power. It is not a promise that we will never get sick or have spiritual struggle, but that in the middle of those experiences, we can still be close to God; we “dwell in His shelter and shadow,” (v1).

The writer ends the psalm (vs 14-16) listing seven blessings to those who love God. God will deliver; God will make one secure. God will answer when one calls; God will be with him in trouble. God will rescue and give honor; He will give a life that satisfies, and ultimately we will see His salvation. No God is like our God.
