Psalm 23

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul” (1). Jesus showed us what a faithful, secure relationship with God looks like, even walking through “the valley of the shadow of death” for us (4). Surrounded by enemies (5), Jesus remained convinced of the Father’s love and made that love available to us. “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love” (John 15:9).

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” (6). Through Christ, we can know the Father’s love and fellowship, forever.
