Isaiah 23-25

“Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us” (25:9). Isaiah prophesied that those who thought they were winning – empires, wealthy cities like Tyre, arrogant leaders, those loyal to idols – would face judgment. But God’s mercy was available for all who would run to Him as “shelter from the storm” (25:4). Those who trusted Him would find Mount Zion open, and God would wipe away tears and prepare a banquet there (25:6-8).

“From the ends of the earth we hear singing: “Glory to the Righteous One” (24:16). Joining with people from the whole earth, we trust and praise Jesus the Righteous One. No matter what chaos is swirling, He is our shelter from the storm.
