Isaiah 35
/“And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness” (8-10). Isaiah prophesied that God would one day open a Way to Zion, and “the redeemed” would walk there - everyone who called on Him in faith. Those with “feeble hands” and “fearful hearts” could hope: “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come” (4). This rescue would not be about nation-states or political power, but something much greater: opening blind eyes, springs of water, everlasting joy (5-6,10).
“He will come to save you” (4). We were wandering, enslaved by sin, blind to our own need. But through Jesus who is the Way, God came to save us and open His kingdom to us.
