Leviticus 26-27
/The theme of Leviticus is the holiness of both God and man. God’s holiness is absolute; ours is derived from Him. Lev. 11:45 had said, “Be holy because I am holy.” God’s approval of their obedience showed by visible blessings. “Rain in its season, sufficient food, peace, safety – all the result of God’s favor, 26:3- 11. But the real promise was, “I will walk among you and be your God and you will be my people,” v12.
God still offers to walk with us if we will walk with him. “If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son, purifies us from all sin,” 1 John 1:7.
