Isaiah 25

“And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces …” (v7-8).  After judgment, Isaiah saw a vision of the renewal of the earth and its peoples.  The same God who has been “a shelter from the storm” (v4) throughout all history will complete His salvation, removing “the veil” of the shadow of death and wiping away our tears.

“This is our God, we have waited for Him” (v9).  All those who trust in Him for salvation now will rejoice when He return.
