Isaiah 41-43
/“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned” (43:2). God’s declaration of love and protection to Israel demonstrated the kind of relationship He desires with all who are “called by His name” (43:7). Isaiah prophesied that this salvation was going to be offered to the whole earth through the Servant, “my chosen one, in whom my soul delights” (42:1).
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine” (43:1). In Christ we have been adopted into God’s family, and nothing can separate us from our Father.
