Ephesians 3

“This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel” (3:6-7).  Paul explained that Israel’s special relationship with God had a surprising purpose: to bring His salvation to the whole world. Sin separates us from God and one another, but the cross reconciles us to the Father and also breaks down “the dividing wall of hostility” between tribes and cultures (2:14), making us children of the same Father (3:15).

When God’s kindness touches us, we see others differently.  “Rooted and grounded in love” (3:17), we have power to announce this great message of reconciliation to the world (v20).
