Acts 20:1-24

“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God” (v24).  Everywhere he went, Paul preached “repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ” as well as “anything profitable” (v20-21). His teaching ministry had credibility because he shared his heart and his life, modeling for the elders and others how to “finish the course” well.

“You yourselves know how I lived among you … (v18).  What we say about Jesus has more power when our lives also reflect His grace, love, and truth.
