II Corinthians 9:8-15

“You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way …” (v11). Paul reminded the Corinthians that worldly people protected their wealth in order to live comfortable and secure lives, but believers had different goals. As they freely shared their resources with those in need, God would continue to enrich and bless them, so that they could “be generous in every way.” They served God eagerly, knowing that as their own needs were met more than sufficiently, they would be able to “abound in every good work” (v8).

As God’s generosity flows through us to bless others, He “…will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness” (10).
