Acts 16

“And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them” (v10).  In obedience to Jesus’ command (Mt 28:19, Acts 1:8), Paul and Timothy set out on a journey to spread the gospel and strengthen young churches (v5). On the way, the Spirit of Jesus directed them specifically to Philippi in Macedonia (v6-10), where they met Lydia, experienced persecution, and were miraculously released from prison.

“As we were going …” (v16).  Jesus’ command is clear. As we continue to give, pray, and go to spread the gospel, the Spirit of Jesus will be faithful to direct us and bring the harvest.
