John 9
/“One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see” (v25). Throughout Jesus’ ministry, He touched and healed those who were needy, those who were vulnerable like the man born blind, and those who asked in faith. He taught in the Temple and the synagogues, explaining Scripture, yet He refused to be trapped by false questions that were a smokescreen for pride (v16,19). Jesus’ power, authority, and compassion were obvious to those who had eyes to see.
“Lord, I believe” (v38). Jesus doesn’t require us to understand everything (v1-3). He simply invites us to come to Him in faith, trusting His wisdom and compassion in every situation.
