Psalm 95

“Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving … for we are the people of his pasture” (v2-7).  The psalmist calls us to worship the One who made the earth and the sea and cares for us as the Good Shepherd.  He warns us not to walk away from the God who is our source of Life. “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts …” (v7-8) like the Israelites did in the wilderness, “though they had seen My work”.  They missed out on God’s “rest” (v11).

God is “the rock of our salvation” (v1) and our only source of abundant life, healing, and rest. He invites us to worship Him and find all we need.
