Psalm 113

Psalm 113 explodes with a call to praise God from "this time forth and forevermore." Simply by his nature he deserves our ceaseless praise, because "who (else) is like our God?" Also, God is worthy of praise because of his mercy and compassion on the "poor of the dust" and the "barren woman."

Worship of our God is twice deserved because he is God and because of His relentless love for us in our sin and brokenness. When we join the worship that is from the "rising and setting of the sun", we encounter the God who is both supremely powerful and endlessly loving.
