Psalm 35-36

“How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings” (36:7). In God’s presence, close to him, the psalmist said that we will not just be safe from harm, but we will “feast” abundantly (36:8). While we self-destruct by chasing our own pleasure and power, instead God invites us to turn to him and drink from the real “river of delights” (36:8). We do not have to battle alone (ch 35); God promises to fight for us against every evil force and trap of the enemy.

“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light” (36:9). God’s light and love can pierce through any darkness we experience.
