Deuteronomy 25-32
/“See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction” (30:15). Before he died, Moses urged the Israelites to follow the Lord’s instructions for life rather than going their own, destructive way. God had shown his kindness by rescuing them and feeding them in the wilderness, and he showed his love further by giving them a way of life that would lead to abundant wholeness. But they had to choose his path. “Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God” (30:19).
“For the Lord is your life” (30:20). Only by knowing and following Christ can we find the joy, peace, and security our hearts desire.
