Psalm 64
/“Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy” (1). The psalmist faced threats in many forms: plots against his life, “cruel words”, and secret traps set for him. God promises to fight our battles; he is our strong defender and powerful Savior (7-9).
“The righteous will rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him” (10). Nothing we fear can separate us from God’s love. He is our defense
