Psalm 65
/“The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy” (8). Not just Israel, but “the whole earth” experiences God’s good gifts through the creation, according to the psalmist. God cares for the earth, waters it, and provides grain for men and women (9). God is “the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas” (9), and he wants the whole earth to know him.
“You who answer prayer, to you all people will come” (2). The evidence of God’s “wonders” – stars and trees, animals and oceans – reminds us of the goodness of our Creator, who is at work through Christ for our redemption.
