Psalm 25
/“In you, Lord my God, I put my trust ... do not let me be put to shame” (1-2). The psalmist recognized that his enemies and his own sinful heart were likely to lead him into shame and disgrace. He asked God to show him instead the right way to live. “Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me” (4-5). Because God loves us, “he guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way” (9).
“The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them” (14). We can trust God to show us right from wrong and to guide us on the right path.
